Children’s hypnosis

In working with hypnotherapy techniques in children, it is very important to remember that hypnosis in children is easy but not to be taken lightly; It is fun, but it requires concentration and respect for the child and his instinctive abilities.

Children learn hypnosis even more easily than adults because, as part of their development, they spontaneously slip in and out of altered states of consciousness successively throughout the day. They are also motivated to change the problem for which they are referred.

A key to teaching children how to learn these self-regulation skills is trust and closeness to the therapist.

The therapist’s manner and the language he uses to talk to the child is also more important than the valuable hypnotic induction or the techniques used.
