About 15 years ago, a conference was held in Boston, USA and at Harvard University under the title of healing values of prayer.
In that conference, Dr. Hubert Benson, professor of the Faculty of Medicine and head of the seminar, expressed the following words:
Prayer activates the brain, reduces the effects of AIDS, lowers blood pressure and cures infertility. Repeating prayers and expelling other thoughts from the brain enables many people to bring about physiological changes in themselves.
There is no gap between science and spirituality in the treatment of humans, and the repetition of prayers reduces the rate of breathing and brain wave activity, and sometimes has such healing power that it eliminates the need for surgery or expensive drug treatment.
