From the point of view of Socrates, the main goal of philosophy is the cultivation of the human psyche and the direction of his thought is towards the inner person. In other words, Socrates’ attempt was to awaken and alert people from the inside to motivate them to self-reflection.
The main question of Socrates is: How should we live?
And his own answer to this question is: psychiatric nursing.
Every person should take good care of his psyche in order to be as efficient as possible. According to Socrates, the means to achieve this goal is knowledge.
According to Socrates, the goal of philosophical efforts is to know virtue and achieve it.
